Greetings revivalists!
It’s been a while since I sent out a post. There has been lot’s of activity with the new year. We had a wonderful Elijah List Conference and then attended the Global Legacy event hosted by New Horizon’s Church in McMinnville. There seems to be some very consistent themes for this year. We should be looking for people to get whole spirit, soul, and body this coming year very quickly. God wants a healthy people in all three ways. He is building an army and unity is not just coming, it is beginning to emerge on many levels. It is also a year for ” The house of the Lord”. So as unity builds in local expressions and in cities and regions, many who left will return to the house of the Lord. My hope and admonition is that we welcome everyone who left back with open arms of love and nothing else. We need everyone of God’s people to see a move of God that changes cities, regions, and our nation. This year we should expect even more people to pray to receive Christ. Last year was the beginning of a breakthrough in that regard, but it needs to deepen, spread, and become lifestyle for the saints. The Gospel of Christ must again become the main thing, not a minor.
We are very excited that this summer will be filled with training, soul winning marathons, and lot’s of movement in evangelism. That is one of the purposes of this post. On the front page you will find a schedule of soul winning marathons that Dan Mickelson has put together. These are great ways for churches to learn, help other cities, and just plain have fun as you become missionaries right in Oregon. You can get even more info and inspiration by going to Dan’s website www.soulwinningmarathons.com. We will have a “Power Evangelism School” June 20-23 in Albany with Dan Mickelson, Mario Murrillo, myself, and our local evangelists, and more. At night there will be worship and crusade style miracle meetings with the fullness of the good news being preached by Mario. You can get more information about this later and on Jesus Pursuit Church web site. But mark your calendars for a very reasonable and powerful school to add fuel to the fire of the summer marathons. We are expecting that Rodney Howard-Browne will be coming back Oregon in August with Destiny Christian Fellowship in Portland hosting as well. It’s going to be a fun, power packed summer of awakening and revival, so stay tuned.
